Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Currents Golf Platform (“Platform”) operated by Currents Golf Pty Ltd ("Currents", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 or older. While the Platform is designed for adults, younger users may use it with the involvement or supervision of a parent or guardian. Use of the Platform constitutes a representation that the user meets this eligibility.
Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, users must create an account and complete verification (e.g. email or phone). ‘Guest checkout’ is not available. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Fees & Payment
A service fee is applied to each booking, which may vary depending on the golf club.
All payments are processed via Currents’ Stripe integration, at the time of booking.
Fees may include additional third-party charges (e.g. Stripe transaction fees, currency conversion).
Refunds are available only for cancellations made at least 7 days in advance. A Stripe refund fee may apply.
Golf clubs reserve the right to cancel bookings due to weather or other circumstances. In such cases, a reschedule or refund option will be offered.
User Conduct
You agree to:
Provide accurate information.
Use the Platform only for its intended purpose.
Abide by the specific conduct, dress, and course rules outlined by each golf club.
Misuse of the Platform, abuse of other users, or fraudulent activity may result in suspension or termination of your account. We reserve the right to verify user identities and audit activity.
Booking Modifications & Cancellations
Each golf club manages its own bookings and may apply its own cancellation and rescheduling policy. Currents provides the booking infrastructure and facilitates payments, but changes will be directed to the relevant club.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property on the Platform - including software, branding, UI, and content - is owned by Currents Golf Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly share any part of the Platform (including screenshots) without written permission from Currents Golf Pty Ltd.
Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data. Some information is processed by trusted third-party providers including Stripe (payments), AWS (hosting), and Google Analytics (analytics). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@currentsgolf.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Platform.
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Marketing & Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive essential service communications (e.g. booking confirmations). You may opt-out / unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
